Bernadette Smith is a contemporary artist working within painting and photo-media. She is currently exploring the impacts of the Anthropocene on water sustainability and social precariacy. Her Master of Fine Arts by Research at Sydney College of the Arts is focused on developing activist visual aids and art interventions for environmental and social justice.
